I received a CSA letter last week saying my exH owed me just under £1k in arrears and it was now being dealt with by CMA, and then a CMA letter yesterday saying he owed me just over £500. So, amount halved within a few days with no explanation and definitely no payment in the interim.
Anyone with experience of this? Is it likely to be a mistake? After a quick google, I found what looks like some good advice here but I'm wondering if it's worth the effort. ExH is on benefits so I don't think he'll be asked to pay anything more, and I'm not wildly confident that he'll be getting a good job any time soon. The advice is all about writing letters, which I can do, but it's a bit of a faff. I can't face ringing them again as it's a pain in the backside getting through the security questions. Part of me thinks all this is deliberately difficult so you don't bother chasing up.
