Is it just me or does anyone else kill tiny flies and spiders that crawl on me when sat outside?

Does anyone else kill the tiny spiders and flies that crawl on them while sat outside or AIBU?

No, I just flick them off gently. Why kill them?

I don't aim to kill them but I brush them off if it's a bug/fly but if it's a spider I'll move it more carefully so I don't hurt it's legs.

Flies are a pita, harassing me deliberately and attempting to drown in my Pimms so I flick them off, but spiders are just minding their own business and accidentally happened to land on me so I gently encourage them onto a plant.

It's just something I've always done since I was a kid, flicking the tiny ones usually kills them so now i just squish them and brush off the dead parts

Never ever. I just flick them off. I feel sad if I misjudge and squish one. I never kill anything if I can avoid it apart from headlice and fleas.

Must have irritated a driver yesterday - realised he was flashing me to turn R in front of him ... didn't see immediately as I was removing a spider from inside my ear.

Why kill them? Just wait for them to walk/fly away.
