I had a little ephiphany today

No one is here at the same time, Adult DS lives here with his girlfriend. DS2 is 16, DD has moved out

We have a white board in the kitchen to write messages and any shopping we have run out of and needs replacing.

Sometimes messages (please tidy your shithole bedroom, minging bathroom) are not getting through.

I have set up a Household WhatsApp group.

They are all going to hate me

We however are going to LOVE you!

Please keep us up to date and definitely have some fun with it:)

Do you think this outfit (insert photo of something hideously trashy or Victorian themed) will work? So excited!"

Bathrooms and bedrooms will be sparkling in no time:)

Adult DD and gf go to bedroom, wait five minutes, message "I can hear that!" no matter what.

DS2 in his room being teenager, adult son in room being older version of teenager, message "Hey Guys, Grandma is here, she's had a knee replacement, it's amazing! She wants to show you how good it is, she's running to your rooms right now to show you!"

We have a family messenger group, it's great. DD1 is at uni so not always here and DD2 spends a lot of time hiding in her room.

Although they both just seem to enjoy trawling through embarrassing pictures of each other to change the profile picture to.

Mostly we just get sent either pictures of food that DD1 has cooked or pictures of ailments/injuries with a diagnosis requested

DD sent me a photo of a chicken breast the other day (not in the group) and asked me if it was off
