Neighbours kids noise levels

Sooo....neighbours children are soooo loud. They do this whole screeching thing quite a lot and the racket is unbearable and the parents don't seem to bother one bit?

I like the kids, my neighbours kid is great, very polite and ive been around talking to them and giving them few sweets/soft toys etc but i don't really know what to do about noise? I don't have any issue with kids playing, it's just the screaming, it's seems to be a thing with a lot of children now and for some reason, many parents just seem to let it slide.

Keep wanting it to start raining so they'll go inside, as bad as that is...

Any advice? The kids are all around 4 years up to 10 and there's about 12 of them in the street, maybe more. Young kids, babies, toddlers, i expect them to make noise but the older kiddies, not so much of the screaming. Sighh

Thankssss

I mean disturbing the peace possibly could be this, have you spoken to your neighbours. If they don’t care you could always file a report for the local police and mention it, other neighbours might be sick of it too!

Why don't you just ask them to stop? most children respond if asked appropriately.

Yeah, ring the police. Police like getting calls about noisy children. We don't have any actual crime in the UK, you see, so they just sit around eating Subways otherwise.

What NewYearNewMe18 said.

I had it with both sets of immediate neighbours .

The kids go to the same school and my garden is in the middle of it all. Once it got a bit much so after each had said Hello L to me, I responded and then asked if they can keep the shouting across down a bit please .
No problem and they done as asked.

You sound like you know them (or some of them) more than I even know the kids beside me so just ask them to keep it down a bit OP.

I quite like Nike's idea you could get a cat scarer that you can't get hear but the kids can

@Nike OMFG, is that thing real? I need this!!!

Absolutely legit! They're used to disperse young people loitering around small shops etc. I'm seriously tempted to get one because of the kids at the back of me Grin Not cheap though...
