Son and upset stomach

I’m posting here for traffic

We took my DS to a farm park last week and since then he’s had the dodgiest stomach. He’s neither up nor down but he’s passing up to 10 stools a day (some quite loose and some not so much) he’s also passing wind and a jelly like substance is coming out. he’s not in any pain and has no vomiting or fever. I’m going to phone the doctor tomorrow.m but wondering if anyone has experience of this.

He fed one animal and then washed his hands thoroughly and went to play in the swing park so I’m not sure if it’s he animals he causing something from. He also ate a picnic with his dad, sister and me and we’ve all been fine so it’s not been something he’s eaten.

Any help would be appreciated (and I’m aware I don’t have an AIBU other than to perhaps be overly worried!)

Thanks!

Maybe something going round. My two children have had really bad stomachs for the last week!

Just get him checked - take a sample with you to save time. There could have been other children less careful washing that played in the play area quite easily

They jelly stuff is just mucus from the bowel which helps the poo out.

It's possible he's caught a stomach bug. Just make sure he's taking in plenty of fluids.
