Welsh speakers-would i be weird

Justtheonequestion · 14/07/2018 22:34

A professional person has recently stopped working with our family for many years because they have helped resolved the reason we worked with them.
This person is incredibly proudly Welsh, and has gone above and beyond to help us.
WIBU to write their thank you card in Welsh, i thought it may show our appreciation.
And WIBU to ask someone to translate a small passage for me if so Blush
Thanks

Resolve not resolved. God that grammar sounds awful!

I don't think that's weird at all, it's great. Sadly my Welsh is fairly basic so hopefully someone better will be along to assist.

Thanks. It wouldnt be appropriate to buy a gift so thought it would be a token of appreciation.

I can't help with the welsh but I like the idea - they do speak welsh though don't they?

Justtheonequestion · 14/07/2018 22:38

Definitely yes-that'd be awkward otherwise lol. A bit of an anticlimax....

Aw I think that's a lovely idea :) unless you want to say 'I like the fair, especially the roller coaster' though, I won't be able to help 😂
