to ask where to buy Caramac bars?

I've tried 2 large Tesco, 1 small Tesco, 1 Waitrose, and 1 Sainsbury's, and no joy. A friend back in Spain asked me to bring them back for her from the U.K. which I'm visiting this weekend.

Can anyone recommend me where to find them?

I’ve definitely seen them in Tesco and Asda recently. Not in multipacks, in the individual ones near tills/sandwich sections. Petrol stations may also be a good shout?

Don’t buy the buttons they don’t taste the same and are horrible

Synecdoche · 14/07/2018 00:31

Do you have any old fashioned corner shops or cash and carry type shops? I also think I might have seen them in Smith's.

Otherwise big Tescos do caramac buttons pretty reliably, if they'd be acceptable. They're in a share bag I believe.

TheIsland · 14/07/2018 00:31

Morrison’s had them by the till earlier

FissionChips · 14/07/2018 00:31

B and m, homebargins, poundshop, newsagents. Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s usually have the caramac buttons.

Hidingtonothing · 14/07/2018 00:32

I got some in B&M a few weeks ago, looked in a different store today though and they had none so might only be certain stores. Worth a look though, hope you find some.

ijustwannadance · 14/07/2018 00:38

Poundland sell them

GKite · 14/07/2018 00:41

Asda does them, I know home bargains and b&m do

HildaZelda · 14/07/2018 00:51

I've seen them in Poundland before.

abigamarone · 14/07/2018 00:52

Morrisons, by the tobacco kiosk.

leccybill · 14/07/2018 00:53

My local corner shop. Bought one today.

Gingaaarghpussy · 14/07/2018 01:11

Mccolls do 3 for a pound

WhenISnappedAndFarted · 14/07/2018 01:25

I'm sure I saw them in Sainsbury's the other day.

Monty27 · 14/07/2018 02:30

melse2964 · 14/07/2018 02:37

Rockmeamaryllis · 14/07/2018 02:41

I buy mine in a Tesco extra store. They are in the sandwich section.

liverbird10 · 14/07/2018 03:04

Cheers, OP. Not wanted a Caramac for at least 20 years... now I crave one at 3AM, and it's tough titties! Angry

AHometownGypsy · 14/07/2018 03:09

My dad loves a Caramac bar but I can only find them in a local newsagent now

Thishatisnotmine · 14/07/2018 03:32

I'd bloody love a Caramac.

LockedOutOfMN · 07/08/2018 16:16

Couldn't find any. Blush

Friend has to make do with some fudge, butterscotch, salted caramel and whatnot instead.

Will try again in some other shops at Christmas.

I've seen them in Hema the NL store. Think they are only in London and Birmingham though?

Blobby10 · 07/08/2018 16:31

My fairly big local Sainsburys has them with the other 'end of the aisle' (also called "the last chance to tempt you as you've managed to resist the chocolate aisle offerings) chocolate bars near the checkouts Grin

ImKait · 07/08/2018 16:33

Near me, ASDA do them in 4 packs and B&M do 3 packs - typically both at £1. Tesco is singles and at 60p/bar.

RB68 · 07/08/2018 16:34

generally they are sold singly so you find them at the grab and go sweet counter rather than the 4 pack type of area
