To ask if anyone has had a Part 25 psych assessment?

I'm in the middle of a particularly vile divorce from the narc STBXH who drove me and the children at 130mph. We went I to a refuge three weeks ago but we're able to come home after he agreed to move out (Not without some give on my part in terms of contact). He is questioning my mental health and has really told some very big lies about me and has now put in a court application for me to undergo a full psychiatric assessment with an expert.

Has anyone had this done?

Also he's told DS age 6 that he's giving him a tablet so that they can talk to each other every night. I don't think a child that young should have any kind of device like that bit more worryingly I see it as more coercive control and I would worry what spying apps etc he will instal. AIBU?

Can’t advise as to the psych bit, but as for the tablet bit that’s easily solvable.

It gets switched on at the agreed time for the nighttime chat and goes off and away straight afterwards until the next night

Courts need to be convinced that a psych assessment is necessary, they don't grant an application without a very good reason. It costs a lot too - who would pay for it? Do you have a history of mental health issues? Could you get a letter from your GP to show the court any history you do/don't have, any treatment, meds prescribed?

I am currently awaiting court proceedings scheduled for March against my ex-husband on the grounds of parental alienation.

I am hoping to receive a permission from court for a Part25 expert assessment and reunification therapy for my daughter and me.

Can anyone recommend the experts that conduct such assessments please?
