To not wear suncream at lunch?

I go out for walks at lunch, anywhere between 30-45 mins. I always wonder though, should I be wearing suncream on ? I'm very pale skinned and normally burn really easily. I haven't burnt yet from lunchtime walks but that doesn't mean it's not causing me damage. No one else seems to wear it but I know that isn't a reason in itself to not to.

AIBU to not wear it?

it is a month since peak uv. slap up.

most people are quite dumb about this. many on here think temperature affects uv strength.

My thinking has been that if I am walking for less than an hour, then I will probably be in and out of shade and walking in different directions and so my skin will not be exposed to the sun for too long.

If it looks like it will be sunny for tomorrow's lunchtime march against Trump then I'll put sunscreen on for that though.

latitude, altitude, time of year, time of day, cloud cover, reflections.

If you burn easily it wouldn't harm to put sunscreen on your face while out at lunch or buy a foundation with it in?

I would put sunscreen on, and/or cover up and wear a hat. I burn in five or ten minutes, have red toned hair and pale freckley skin.

I’m fairly wary of the sun, having worked with melanoma clinical trials full of women in their 20s to 50s and seen several friends have melanomas taken off with HUGE margins.

I'm a pale freckled redhead and I wear SPF on my face every day, just in case. Can't hurt right.

Simple do an SPF 30 face cream for around a fiver!
