What to get someone for their 40th?

Someone you don’t know very well but like. Got to be able to pick it up by Sunday morning so can’t order anything. Bottle of wine ok? Or should it be more?

Wine is fine. If you live anywhere near a Waitrose you can order anything from John Lewis and collect the next day.

Male or female? Any specific interests?

Female. No specific interests (or none that I’m aware of!). I think wine is the safest bet!

I’d be thrilled with wine or nice coffee or similar. As long as you know they drink alcohol then don’t think you can go wrong with wine.
