Hi just a little update from my previous post been to our assesment yesterday at hospital with my daughter they played loads of little games with her with toys ect.. and the occupational therapist was filling in a book marking off stuff ect.. what is this book? Im totally clueless and i don't feel things have been explained well to me by doctors Anyway they have reffered us to child development team and for assesment is this right? Any advice would be great thanks

If its the book I'm thinking of, they are assessing her through the games and then will tally the marks for each scenario to create a score of likelihood

It's probably an ADOS assessment, we had one before a DISCO one was done.

Thanks is a ados assesment a risk assesment for autism? And what is a disco a assesment for autism? Im confused lol

Ok thanks yes they couldn't mark her on some as they struggled to get her attention what usually happens next do you know? Would i get a copy of it? Sorry loads questions
