It was International Town Criers'Day yesterday (who knew?) and there was some mention of it on the radio and our local social media. One of the male Town Criers wrote "Some Lady Town Criers are frighteningly good"
My DP thought it was meant as a compliment. I didn't. AIBU?

It is casual sexism you're right.
