Apologies for this being a health related topic, but I genuinely just want some quick feedback on whether I need to seek alternative review for my 9 yr old daughter. She is immune compromised and has recently been hospitalised with a low white cell count and prolonged fever. On Friday she developed an unusual painfully red tongue, that looks very much like strep tongue, and had another fever over the weekend. She’s struggling to eat or drink as it’s so painful, so I rang her GP yesterday, to be told that she had no appointments, could I email them the problem instead. Sent the email yesterday morn and just had a call back from the secretary, saying they would forward to doctor for when she returns tomorrow....does this seem a bit of a poor response? Confused
