to swim with a sprained ankle?

This. My ankle is sprained, I'm five minutes away from the pool. Logically, I think it will so me good but I'm scared the sky will fall down on my head.

Fine but no kicking just arms only swimming. Maybe get a float to hold between your legs to remind you.
