Basically my Dcs school is having its transition week ( a week that you experience what it’s like to be in your new year from September) we found out who DD new teacher is going to be and I got very excited 😆 as it’s my DS reception teacher who he loved, (he’s now going in to year 6) she is amazing with the kids and parents alike. An all around pleasure. Dd has had the same teacher for 2 years of nursery and she went with her to reception so I’m glad now she’s moving on to another great teacher. New teacher has taught both my DS and my little sister and they both loved her. Some People telling me I’m being pathetic, but I just feel like I know her very well, I also worked with her step son. She’s known the family for 9 years. My dd was born just at the same time my DS started reception so shes even known my dd since birth.

Aw that’s lovely, OP! :) I’m pleased for you and your DD :) I loved my reception teacher - it’s great when you have a good teacher.
