to chase my results?

Had a harmony test Friday morning last week. Was told it would take 4-7 working days. It's only been 5 but I'm going out of my mind worrying about it as we came back as high risk. Would I be unreasonable to call the lab now and check when the results are likely to be back? Even when it hasn't been 7 days yet? I'm sick of checking my emails every 5 minutes but don't want to be a royal pita either...

Definitely chase them. We did with ours. They were remarkably casual, but we were tearing our hair out. The results were fine, and I was glad we'd found out asap. Good luck op.

Definitely chase them, my GP was super slow in giving me the results so I chased it up (was easy enough for the receptionist to email it to me) and turns out they’d come back after 2 business days anyway!

@faeriequeen @ComtessedeLancret did you chase the lab or the scan centre? I'n SO nervous!!!

@garidje I chased the GP as they requested the test so the paperwork clearly indicated they’d be sent the results, I had a friend chase the lab and they kind of went around in circles because it was a bit trickier for them to pinpoint her individual file. Worst case I’d try both and see who gets back to you first.

@ComtessedeLancret the scan centre is closed now but I will call the lab in the small hope that they know something!

@garidje fingers crossed for you! I hope they’re good results, the waiting and the unknown is the absolute worst, I hate being in my own head with worry over these things personally!

They said they had them and they'd send them through in a few minutes. It's been 40 mins and nothing. This is agony!

Hopefully they come through soon! At least it’s a different kind of waiting game now and you should have some relief shortly :)
