AIBU To prefer wearing mens underwear?

In this hot weather and when abroad in similar temperatures I find my usual M&S knickers uncomfortable.
What I want is knickers with short legs in them( not long johns) to prevent the tops of my legs rubbing together and becoming sore in the heat.
I asked again this year at M&S and the assistant said " funny lots of women are asking for that but we don't have any other than support garments." ( too hot for support garments)
So I went upstairs and bought 3 packs of men's boxers. Short legs all cotton and only £7.50 for a pack of three!
They are so comfortable! I can't believe it. Probably not the sexiest of underwear but then chafed inner thigh is not sexy either!

I could ask: AIBU risking my husbands passion for my own comfort? But at the moment I don't care!
Just wanted to share this affordable solution to any others out there who have similar problems! ( you could wear your thongs and like, underneath if you wish).

YANBU to find them comfortable.

But I can't think of anything worse than wearing mens underwear.

YANBU. I live by comfort first, but I have to ask, don't they get saggy around the 'meat&tackle' area that you are obviously lacking?

Verbena87 · 05/07/2018 21:52

Definitely not unreasonable, and no risk to passion if you whip ‘em off with the rest of your clothes and go to bed in your wedding ring and nothing else. Grin

I wear mens shoes to accommodate my wide feet. We're not that anatomically different. Wear whatever feels good.

Bodyglide. Costs about a tenner, lasts ages, prevents chafe and means you can wear your normal knickers.

The big bloomer company sell life changing chub rub shorts. You will thank me.

YANBU.

I wear cycling shorts under dresses etc to avoid the chub rub. I hadn't thought of boxers. Hmm... might have to give them a go.

Op you are a genius!! I am def trying this!

Gbtch · 05/07/2018 22:39

Hi all thanks for your responses. The loggi knockers are too long in the leg for me- too hot.
The boxers I bought don't have much extra fabric around the front so no baggy bits to speak of. The more expensive boxers are a bit more shaped for men's bits. These are not,.
Being all cotton they are really lovely to wear. So I do hope those of u who try them have the same experience. At £7.50 for three pair it's worth a go.
Sizing may be difficult. I am size 12/14 and bought small. They are a comfy fit.

I shall take the advice to whip em off but keep the wedding ring on! Lol.

I wear kids boxers from primark. The largest size fits my size 8 arse. Comfy and not much of a penis pouch due to them being for younger teen!
