Bloody delivery company ignoring delivery instructions.

It’s so irritating! I do not get in with my neighbour, he is a creep that I want nothing to do with. So of course the courier was going to appear today at the exact time I was going to be out. Couldn’t be rearranged, so I click the ‘going to out’ link in their text and fill out the form asking for the package to be delivered to the rear of the property and yes I ticked the box that said I was happy to accept liability should said parcel be stolen.

Came home today and saw there was no delivery note or parcel. I assume that maybe they were unable to deliver or perhaps I’d made a mistake, click the ‘track parcel’ link and of course who now has my parcel, my bloody neighbour. Why bother allowing the customer to specify days or places when they totally ignore the instructions. The same courier did the same a few months back when I rearranged the bloody day!! Why I thought it would be different this time I have no idea 🤦🏻‍♀️

Happened to me today. I don't know the neighbour who has my parcel but I do know that I instructed that it should be left at the back door step and it's too heavy for me to carry home.

Call the company and get it redelivered. They ignored your instructions, they should sort it out.

Speak to the delivery company maybe next time in instructions say that you don’t want it delivered to neighbours

We had similar, I was in the shower and got a message saying parcel had been delivered on my phone. I tracked it and it was signed NSR which I later found out was no signature required. I went online to say the package had not been delivered to me, nor left in the safe space I indicated, nor had they even left a note in the door. Mid way through the chat the dog barked, so I looked out of the back window and could see my (slightly odd) NDN with my distinctive package. I went round and claimed it from him, but was really miffed that they gave it to him instead of leaving it where I had told them.

I’ve had similar a couple of times this week

My next door neighbour ‘lost’ some parcels - they were signed for by him, but when I went to pick them up he denied all knowledge. The company I’d ordered from had to sort it out.

I now put DO NOT LEAVE WITH NUMBER 8!!!! on all delivery instructions. They still bloody deliver them there though. Fortunately he’s handed everything over lately but it’s so irritating

Some couriers chuck my parcels over a wall (10 feet) to land by front door, to save going down a few steps. I've actually seen them do it. I wish they'd leave them with my neighbours!

I've got a lovely neighbour one side and a right nob of a neighbour the other side, and despite me always putting the house number of nice neighbour, they deliver it to the nobjock, and its very annoying!!

Amazon have refunded me for the inconvenience and thankfully neighbour who had my parcel was lovely and carried it to my house. Smile

I still think they should be able to read a simple delivery instruction though.

Well DP won’t go over to deal with him either, so right now my parcel is stuck with the neighbour until one of us breaks 😬
