I haven’t found one to strike a chord other than one about being Wonder Woman who had some nice tips. What’ve you read that’s cheered you right up or been feel good?

Anything by Rosamunde Pilcher. It's fiction but it's like a comfort blanket. My favourite is The Shell Seekers.

I liked The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. It's not preachy, it's more of a diary she wrote while doing a project to improve her happiness but I found it quite inspiring.

The Dalai Lama did a nice one.

Like the sound of that diary. Was looking more self- help or inspiring rather than happy feel good fiction. Know there have been a few threads on those and have stocked up but want some positive ideas too. Thanks in advance!!

Gretchen Rubin for me too! She also has a real feel good podcast which is full of little tips.

My mindfulness teacher has really helped me to be happier . She has just written a book which is very easy to read and really resonates with me. £3.99 on kindle! There are lots of pages you can view for free to see if her style is for you.
