I know iabu to post this here, but anniversary is on Thursday and I haven't got anything.
DH has indicated he's got me an expensive present.
What can I buy??? I know he wants fingerprints of the children cufflinks, but too late for those... .

You can express delivery a moonpig card, not sure what express for not on the high street is?

Rocinante1 · 03/07/2018 18:24

Could you order them now and just say the jeweller had a delay? And get him a couple of small things you know he likes for now.

I feel kind of bad for your husband if that's what he said he wanted and you didn't do it. It's your 10th anniversary and he wants something to represent his kids... that's a lovely thing to ask for. Why didn't you do it?

Concert tickets always good as you can just print the confirmation

I just spoke to him on the phone - I was upset because he found what was to be his present (blown up photographs, framed) and ruined it.

He's going to be happy with an upmarket steak and bj night.

Naice steak and bj is for 11 years though, isn't it? Traditionally it's tin in the UK for a 10 year anniversary.

Yes tin, what nice comes in a tin (and can be delivered in 1-2 days?)

Ok - so DH and I are foodies. I would get 10 tin cans of yummy food. Vine leaves, fancy olives, posh anchovies, giant beans, pate, soup etc. That would buy me time to get the ‘real’ present if that wasn’t enough.

Sweet idea!
