The kids in the street seem to be very forward and have no problem with turning up and just walking into our garden and even our house! For context my ds is 7 and there is a another boy and three girls that are 8, 7, 6 and 5. Two are siblings. I don't mind them playing in the garden or house weather depending but recently there has been times when my ds has been out and I've turned around in my kitchen and there is one of them standing!
Also we have family here on holiday and were having a bbq and had the paddling pool out etc and they kept banging on the gate to get in. My garden is not big enough for all my family and those extra kids I sent them packing and told them my ds would be out to play in the street once we had eaten etc.
It's really beginning to bug me now that i can't sit in my garden without a constant stream of kids turning up but I also dont want to be seen as the miserable neighbour thats hates kids
