Gave my friend some gooseberries from the garden. She threw them away because "there were a few dead ants on them." Did she think I had grown them hydroponically? Has she ever been on a farm? Maybe I should have washed them but I was in a real rush picking them in morning before work so they would be fresh. AIBU to be annoyed?
