Who’s at fault that the camera broke?

Person A & B are both drunk, just come in from the pub. A hands their camera to B so that B will take a photograph of them.

A is standing and B is sitting as the exchange is made. Somehow in the drunken exchange the camera falls to the ground & breaks. A is very annoyed & blames B for it. The next day B goes out & buys a replacement because they feel bad but also feels that it wasn’t strictly their fault.

Who’s fault was it?

Neither it was an accident.

Just an accident, nobody's fault.

LongSummerDays · 30/06/2018 12:14

They're both drunk, reactions are skewed, it's an accident.

PitterPatterOfBigFeet · 30/06/2018 12:14

It was an accident. If you bring your camera on a drunken night out accidents might happen. A should replace their own camera.

Equal fault but at a push, more so A

Assuming you are B
