just spent 4 full minutes (only know as i was timing something else) peeling 2 “easy peeler” oranges. if i was a small child with these in my lunchbox i’d probably really struggle and give up tbh!

I agree OP - easy peelers are never easy to peel! Why is it impossible to get “normal” satsumas these days?? Grin

The way to pick peelers / satsumas / tangerines etc is to ensure there’s a bit of bagginess in the skin. Those tend to be sweeter too

God i hate these things too. Its really annoying when tiny pathetic bits come off! Its not worth the hassle! I much prefer the baggier ones as other poster said. satsumas are amaze, they remind me of Christmas!

I thought it was just me buying duffers, yanbu.

I find the easy peelers from m&s good, only takes seconds to peel. My toddler would combust with rage if he had to wait two minutes Grin

Do you roll it in your hands first to loosen the skin?

Pebblespony · 30/06/2018 12:32

Yup. Easy peeler is a total misnomer.

SneakyGremlins · 30/06/2018 12:33

kaytee who has time for that? Grin
