Last year sometime I think someone posted about their son wanting to do some A levels using just previous papers as his means of learning, as I recall someone on here (Pengwwn maybe) was involved in marking his practice papers. Does anyone know how he actually got on.

Ooh, I remember that thread, OP! I don't recall ever finding out the upshot of it, though, so following with interest...

Sparknotes version is that he got an E at AS, and I believe is resitting and taking the A2 exams this summer.
