To consider solo holiday

I want to go on holiday but have just split from my partner.
I don't want to go on holiday on my own but all my friends are coupled up or just can't get away

I'm thinking about doing a group thingy - has anyone done anything similar?
I'm bit anxious about whether I'm not going to get on with anyone else there.

I go away on my own all the time, even though I have a partner. I secretly prefer it as I get to do entirely my own thing without compromising for anyone.

I usually go away somewhere rural, get an airbnb, take my bike and do walking/cycling in the day and just chill out with a book atn ight.

I have never done a group thing. I woudln't fancy it to be honest - sounds like hard work!
