My child's that is. Not knowing vital information because you're not "in" with the right people, the dreaded school runs, the playground politics, the busy bodies, the sports days - just me?

I think you’re making massive assumptions. I don’t know of any vital info that isn’t on the school app. There are no playground politics, sports day is just standing in a field, I don’t know any busy bodies and yes the school run can be a pain in the backside. Maybe I’m just lucky, or don’t care.
