My son jumped off a wall last night Hmm and busted him self up pretty bad it was Avery high wall he has
A fat eye
Large graze on his face
And busted lip

However he has an traineeship interview tomorrow

Should he go?
I not sure why to advise really he looks pretty awful
I think his tooth went through his lip
Or should he put his best foot forward just go and tell what happened

He should go. I did a few interviews with a broken arm and bruises on my face.

Mosaic123 · 27/06/2018 19:08

I think he should go (as long as he doesn't need to go to hospital) and immediately explain why he looks as he does.

The interviewer might be impressed at his keenness.

If he made a stupid error when he jumped off the wall he should gloss over that part, whilst telling the truth if asked directly.

He should absolutely go! I'd maybe make a story up tho as your OP makes him sound a bit reckless... maybe walk in with confidence, apologise for appearance and explain he face planted the pavement when he tripped on a cracked paving stone.

2 years ago I had a job interview but my leg was in cast because of a complex fracture. I called the HR team and explained I
Had a bright pink cast and couldn't wear smart trousers and she replied and said come anyway, it doesn't matter. I was first runner up for job, but they were lovely to me in the interview even tho I rocked up in joggers

I was also once interviewed by a company MD sporting two black eyes! (Female rugby player)

If he doesn’t go he has no chance of getting it.

If he does go he still has a chance so worth going!

Whocansay · 27/06/2018 19:14

He should go, but I would definitely lie about why he looks like that! Say he was in an RTA or something.

He jumped off a wall? How old is he? Was he drunk?

Metoodear · 27/06/2018 19:24

He’s 18

He was in a girls house and parents arrived home early from work and was chased by the dad HmmAngryBlush
