House is roasting. Landing window key is lost and I’m suffocating in muggy air. YouTube has two tricks neither working fir me - clip off tape measure and someone with paper clip and Allen key. Any other ideas? Or who can get me a key??

If other windows in the house were installed at the same time, try one of those keys. Good luck.

Tried the other keys and all the keys in the house. It is driving me mad.

Anyone know where to get new keys or is it a locksmith job?

Is it upvc windows? Easy to get keys for them online, just
google the window make. You might need to order a couple if you're unsure which it is. How about your neighbours?

How do I know the name? There’s no marking on it annoyingly

Find a company that sells the keys. All window keys. Use a mirror and look at the back of the lock, there should be a number on there.

Find a photo of the lock on the website and identify it, then use the number from the back of the lock to order the key. I will see if I can find the one I used.

Order a spare too.
