after dropping DD at highschool for her transition day? She met up with her friends and walked through the big double doors without a glance back.

She's so grown up. It happened so fast. I'm sure she was starting school just last September?

I'm very proud of the young woman she's becoming. She is articulate, funny, strong minded, kind, thoughtful, and very clever.

Even though I'm sad to see her childhood melting away, I'm even more excited to see where she goes next!

Nope not unreasonable. Totally understandable - she's your baby!

I wept like a hopeless lunatic when dd went on her gap year. Saying goodby at Gatwick was hideous. She had a ball Grin

Perfectly natural op. They grow up soooooo quickly

I agree. My DS got his mortgage offer yesterday. I’m very proud but shocked at the same time.
