To be really pissed off that I have to go and listen to other people's children torturing musical instruments for 3 hours tonight, when it's the start of Grey's Anatomy season 3?

Well I know IABU really, and we should all support each other's little dears or there'd be no audience - but DAMN!

Mcdreamy will be doing those longing looks at Meredith, and I'll be listening to some 8 yo murdering 3 blind mice on a tuba. And it's hot, and dd will have to stay up and will be knackered tomorrow.

And all ds is doing is providing 4 bars of bass line in one song. Bugger.

Just had to moan.

If any of you lucky people who can watch it tonight discuss it on here, please sign post any spoilers!

Moan away and thanks for the GA reminder.

YANBU listening to other people who are not yet competent playing musical instruments is not fun at all. My neighbour's daughter, 7, is lovely but I wish she'd give up the recorder (violin is fine as she plays that indoors. Recorder comes outside...).

Have just remembered the existence of Living + 1 so am marginally less grumpy.

Enjoy you lucky people, enjoy.

Sometimes you can time it just to go in for their item but I haven't very often been able to pull that off. Sometimes if they aren't in the second half you can get permission to take them out at half time. Secondary school gets much much better and sometimes if you're lucky there'll be a girl who's a potential concert pianist and the difference from the rest of them is just astounding. But they're rare moments....
