To be upset steamer&vacuum in one does not exist?

Moving the house, doing hell lot of cleaning now.

I have steamer, like it a lot. And I like my wet vacuum too. Wish them being combined in one device. Grin vacuuming, them pushing a button and pshhhhh - hot steam.

I have found only huge commercial Karcher cleaners of this kind (thousands of pounds).

AIBU to want one ? Grin

Bissell makes one. Maybe not available there? It's like $200 at Walmart.

TroubledLichen · 26/06/2018 23:08

It does exist! I also have the Bissell one and it’s pretty good although it’s quite heavy. Presuming you’re in the UK and not the US like me so maybe they don’t exist there but maybe try Amazon?

TroubledLichen · 26/06/2018 23:09

Oh and you don’t vacuum then steam, you steam clean whilst you vacuum... genius!

Amalfimamma · 26/06/2018 23:15

I have the rowenta steam and clean, hoovers and steam clean at the same time

(Although I would advise a quick Hoover first then a Hoover and steam.)
Use it everyday tbh

I have found that whenever I have bought a machine that does two jobs it’s rarely as good a quality or long lasting at having separate appliances. Washing machine and dryer being a big waste of money that took forever to do and when the dryer went so was the washing machine.

Oh ok ladies, thank you so much.

I'm going to google it seriously now. The one I was looking for is not the upright for carpets, as we don't have carpets, the hard flooring, rather than general type, as in the pic to be able to steam clean/vacuum doors for example.

Can you give me some model names if you know that?

Thank you so so much WinkFlowers

Boulshired yes, regarding washer/dryer that was a sad fact to me. We had expensive AEG ( we gave to my in-laws). Now having cheap Candy washer and dryer separately and I love it. The only issue is space. If you have small kitchen I still would opt for AEG with dryer function.

The only one that I know off like that is the polti unico mcv70

The one I have is upright. I did see that black and Decker did one (detachable unit for showers and glass too) but I don't know if it's available in the UK

Power of Mumsnet!

Thank you, Amalfimamma.

You're welcome vivot
Polti may be expensive in the UK being an Italian company so have a look on Amazon.it, and Amazon.de to see if you can get it for less (if that's the one you're interested in)
