Not drip feeding, I'm just isolated and writing isn't my forte. If you've ever met me, you'll know I'm a nervous mess at the best of times.

I have two children, and my older one has SEN; we have had two deaths in the family (one due to suicide). I've just changed jobs and my DH is transitioning into a new role-he's going through just as much as I am.

We are also moving house. Our current LL has instructed quite a few estate agents to help rent this property so they don't lose any potential income. Fair enough.

Everything is fine, except for one. This company is being super pushy and demanding over when they want to come. I've given them access two days a week for 90 minutes each time. Now, all the other estate agents are working with these timings but I am getting loads and loads of emails, texts and phone calls saying that I'm being unreasonable, that the landlord has written in our contract they have 2 months of access, and theres only one month left they must show the property.

I have already told them that I have a right to quiet enjoyment and that I'm feeling that their emails, and other communications are coming off as pushy and borderline harassment.

I'm being criticised about not having to take time off of work- all in all, I feel lost, almost as if I have no choice but to let these people in my home. I feel weak and powerless.

Your landlord's desire for uninterrupted cash flow does not supercede your right to peaceful enjoyment of your home. If you have a Yale type lock, change the barrel (takes five minutes and costs about a tenner) til you move out, change it back as your last act and tell all the estate agents to bugger off. It won't be fun, but you can do it.

Stand your ground.
Sent the same email back time and time again. Tell them that under no circumstances are they able to enter without your permission.

I hate renting via agents for this reason. Best of luck and you know you're in the right.
