Went to icelanda today and the lady at the checkout said as I had ordered £25 worth of shopping I was entitled to free home delivery, first I had heard of it so was a little apprehensive but due to the weather and the fact I was relying on the bus i decided to make life easier! She bagged it up ready to be delivered at 5pm. Well its 6.30 now and nothing! Aibu to be annoyed? Anyone used them and had a problem?

It's usually a slot at Iceland not a specific time so most probably between 5 and 7. Could give the store a ring to check?

Oh ok she just said 5 to me! you can tell im new to this. Hopefully it comes in the next half hour. Will be taking it on the bus next time.

Has it come? (I used to work for Iceland an the PP is correct, the delivery slots are usually 2 hours). Annoying if you thought, 5 though.

It's Iceland. What on earth do you expect?!

FrasierCrane stop being a snob.

I’ve used them and they’ve always been helpful, polite and punctual to within 15 mins of the start of the slot.
We are on the top of a hill, though...
I’m a big fan of Iceland, especially their club card which gives you £1 free shopping for every 20 you put on it, so effectively a 5% discount.

I use them.about once a month. They are generally earlier in the given time slot. Maybe as your address was a new one they can't find you? Have you received it yet?
