Ruined carpet

I know I’m not BU to be annoyed but need some help!!

I’ve just had a delivery and one of the delivery men has knocked a tub of paint over my new carpets! It’s left quite a big stain. I’ve called and logged it with the company who will need a report off the driver before doing anything!
Has anyone got any tips to get blue paint out of a pale carpet???

What kind of paint, if oil based give up, if water based use water and then absorb it do not rub it hard. Washing powder helps

The delivery company will have liability insurance for this kind of thing. Keep pressing them on the fact that it’s theit responsibility to put right.

It’s water based so I’ll try that thanks! If it doesn’t work then they’ll be fixing or replacing it!

Were they delivering the paint?

Do you know anyone with a carpet cleaner you could borrow?

Some won't pay for repair if you have 'tried to solve the problem' yourself ie might have made it worse.

They were delivering a bed. I’ve called their customer service team and they’ve said just photo it then do what I need to to it. I’ve got a carpet cleaner so will try that next! Fingers crossed it comes out!

I would imagine they would say it is your fault for having the paint in the way.

Where was the paint if they were delivering a bed?

Take LOTS of photos before touching it!
