Woman on this morning with PCOS

Did anyone see it? I too have pcos but not quite as severe as she seems to
I agree logically with what she says but could not honestly leave the house all hairy
Does anyone? I admire her guts but aibu to think the majority of women just wouldn't do this?

I did not see it but I have PCOS and over the last few years, as I’ve become fatter I’ve also become more hairy.

I confess I do leave it a bit longer before plucking owing to time (small baby) but if I have ‘somewhere’ to go then I remove as much as I can.

However I wouldn’t judge someone for leaving it - I just feel very self conscious myself. I’d love to not care.

I wouldn't judge either and like you I'd love to not care, I suspect the majority of women would feel the same and not embrace though

The things I pull out of my chin are like eyebrows. It’s horrid.

And now I’m getting old the occasional grey whisker pops out. I also have a hair that grows straight out of my cheek. It’s a fucking delight.

I have PCOS and this morning discovered I'm growing longer hair on the outer sides of my thighs, now! Shock I'm definitely not a hair embracer, but the shaving and tweezing does get boring, so I understand (and don't care if) others just can't be arsed.

It distresses me greatly, I've not long bought a Philips lumea so am hoping for good results

For those who didn't see it the woman had a massive thick beard and hairy chest

I also have PCOS but I honestly couldn't let myself become hairy. I wish I had the confidence to just say fuck it and let the tash grow but I just can't.

I’m sorry but hormonal hair won’t react to IPL - send it back. The only thing that helps is getting the condition under control.

I learned the expensive way.

I have heard that Merry, it hasn't reduced the volume but the growth rate has slowed slightly
