AIBU to think these lips lool awful!?

A local nail salon has started doing various cosmetic procedures and have just posted these lips on their facebook page......please tell me I'm not wrong to think these look bloody shocking! Like something off botched bodies. Surely these salons shouldn't be thinking these look good?

I really don't see the appeal of this trend. Every time I see woman with obviously done lips, it just looks strange.

Hate it! Those are very extreme examples, but I just don’t think it ever looks good.

I, too, do not understand the appeal of the big lip craze either. Of course full lips look gorgeous on those who naturally have them and I'm sure if subtlety done can look great on those who want a little more plumpness. I've never understood though when people go for the fake look.

The lips in question do look like the photo was taken immediately after the last injection went in.. I hope for whoever's face is attached to those lips that the swelling went down and they look more natural now!

I dislike it too. There’s young women where I work, younger than 25, who’ve clearly had lips and Botox, eyebrow microblading and semi permanent lashes. They to a one look odd, IMO. There are some women who can’t eat properly their lips are so big

They look like she's eaten too many foam strawberries and been stung on the lip by a wasp.

They literally look like a bag of those cherry lip sweets tipped onto a paper!!

I agree those pictures don't look like a great advertisement for the service they're providing. But I'm not a fan of this lip trend anyway. The persons top lip often looks stretched and painful. But even if they're not painful, the top lip doesn't move very much. It looks a bit unnatural imo.

They look terrible - and swollen and sore. I really don’t get this ‘look’ of oversized weird lips - not attractive and odd looking! X

Apparently there are now more younger women getting injectables which they know look pure odd in real life, but look fantastic in photos. It’s all for Instagram.

A good comparison would be Kim and Kylie Kardashian- their social media pictures made them look like the “ideal” 2018 woman, but when you see them in a non-edited video they look like ventriloquist dummies.

I thought that was a photo of a pound of sausages at first. Dreadful.
