Neighbours house alarm has been going off for 2 hours

What can I do?

Aside from the fact that it's ruined my evening in the garden, I am being driven insane. I'm right opposite the offending alarm and it has now been sounding since 6pm.

Can't bear to shut the windows as it's so hot but I literally feel like I'm being tortured.

Call the police & say you think your neighbours have been broken into?

They know it's going off, they nicely told me that it was broken and then they went out for the evening, presumably to escape the noise.

So what are they going to do when they come home? They're coming home... ?

Can't the power be switched off at the circuit breaker? It should be in that box high up on the hall wall that contains a bunch of switches labelled with different functions, LEDs and stuff, as well as the main circuit breaker to switch the power off to the whole house. You know the thing I mean.
