I'm a complete tit.
I've lost / mislaid a council tax bill that we need for giving notice of marriage tomorrow. I used it a few weeks back as proof of address and thought I'd put it back in the "important documents" folder with my passport. Passport is there, but I can't find the bloody council tax letter.

Im so pissed off at myself - luckily DP isn't, as he didn't read the email properly or listen to me so got print outs of bank statements from the bank, but not certified copies (which is what he needs).
I know I should have done it sooner, but I thought I knew where everything was, and I had asked DP to sort this stuff out as I'd arranged the appointment and booked the ceremony.

I've managed to arrange for a friend to print a copy (I get them by email too), and DP is going to the bank on the way to the appointment to get the certified copies, but what are your tips for organising all the household admin crap?
