MLM younique and my friend

A couple of years ago my close relative got into this sort of selling (different ‘company’) and only lost money. She tried to sell to me and to recruit me and I told her no, just no. And why. Now a friend on Facebook is doing the same with Younique and I’m wondering if I should just leave her to it or warn her about the risks? Am I wrong about Younique? Is that different? Looks like a normal mlm to me.

I’ve had 2 friends start selling for younique. I’m not certain that either of them still do, but at no point did they attempt to recruit me or anything.

I bought a couple of things from each of them to help out and the quality is actually decent.

It’s just modern Avon really. Now THAT is a rip off, charging you for catalogues and other stuff that they insist you have so that you can sell the brand (according to my neighbour who swiftly distanced herself from them)

It is the usual MLM. Unfortunately your friend will have been duped into believing that anyone who criticises this ‘company’ is a “moodhoover” and a “negferret” (their words). Read Elle Beau blog, her story is fascinating and there are lots of tips for those with friends in MLMs.
