I have recently found out that a boy in my dd(14) year grows weed at home and deals.

Dd has a sleepover tonight with 6 girls. All v normal. But she's just asked if this boy can come over 'for an hour'. Obvs I said no.

Do I shop him??

Yes

ASauvignonADay · 23/06/2018 21:25

100% yes. I don't think much happens if you do it anonymously - could you report via 101?

I'd also inform the school.

I am definitely considering calling them but I don't want to look like an idiot if it's just rumour

Police get told rumours and even mid information all the time. It's their job to look into what you tell them and decide whether it's likely or not. They may have had some other reports about the same boy and therefore your report will help to corroborate what they know. I would definitely report. I think you can report online with crimestoppers if you don't want to call.

Thanks whydoes. I found out last week that the son of a work colleague goes to the local school and has heard that this boy deals and had told his mum.

Both my dd and this lad go to a school 30 mins away and she has recently asked to spend time with him in the evening, hanging around the local village. We live v rurally so she needs a lift wherever she goes and I said yes once but since hearing these rumours have obviously said no, much to her disdain!!!

I know she's going to dabble in this sort of thing (Sad) I just need to try and stop what I can
