WTF is a binka?!

SnappyFartyKarate · 23/06/2018 22:13

Binka is a kind of fabric used for embroidery.

Cross stitch fabric with big holes?

Some nice starter kits for children

superbstarling · 23/06/2018 22:15

the smaller the number, the bigger the holes

ShawshanksRedemption · 23/06/2018 22:18

Also known as Aida. I only know Binca as a cat cartoon LOL!

Theweasleytwins · 23/06/2018 22:21

I've been trying to find vinca for ages! Couldn't find it anywhere

The number relates to how many holes per inch it has so 7 has 7 holes per inch. The higher you go the more holes it has but the holes are smaller. For teaching kids I'd go for a 7 or a 10, nice size for using with double knitting wool. Hth
