Is it totally unrealsitic to wear a maxi dress to legoland or chessington. Going next week and weather giving 30degress and i will burn to a crisp in shorts Grin

I don’t think it would be an issue. Just remember comfy shoes (and make sure the dress isn’t so long that it drags on the floor) :)

Imustbemad00 · 23/06/2018 18:07

What are you thinking could be the problem?

HermioneWeasley · 23/06/2018 18:08

I’ve worn a maxi dress to Disney Florida before with no issues.

I went two weekends ago in a maxi dress , it was 27 and felt hotter. I was burning through factor 50. It was nice to stand by the water ride and get splashed with cold water. Maxi dress was fine!

perfect, thats a relief. Was thinking if any bars had to come up between legs on rides id be flashing everyone Shock im dreading the queues in the heat

I've worn a maxi dress to Legoland before and it was fine, with the heat make sure you drink plenty, stick some sun block on and take some with you to re-do after you've been on the water ride and grab one of those hand held fans if you can(and take some spare batteries)they really help when it's busy there and very warm.

I would opt for a thin cotton top and cotton cropped trousers. Much easier for getting on and off rides, loose clothing can get caught.

ForalltheSaints · 23/06/2018 19:20

Nothing wrong at all if you get sunburnt easily. Nothing wrong if you don't in fact.

Weather might not be 30 degrees, just the forecast saying so, to avoid any possible criticism.

I always wear maxi dresses to theme parks! You can just tuck them in or close harnesses over them, or tuck children in your lap (log flume) and still stay covered. They’re great!

You can literally wear what you want there's like no law or anything
