Should I LTB? (Lighthearted)

DH and I both have pain conditions. As a result, he often uses my paracetamol. My problem is the CHAOS that he causes when he uses them in the wrong order! It is madness and I am considering the future of our marriage as I am not sure I can live with this!

In a strip of 8 they should surely be used in order! ie tablets 1 and 2.

1 2
3 4
5 6
7 8

But he insists on using them 2 and 4!!! This is not the correct order.

So am I BU? Is he? Should I start packing now??

Get rid of him immediately, he's bringing chaos into your home. If you need help hiding the body just pm me.
Oh and call 101 and log it

TrudeauGirl · 21/06/2018 09:28

You should see my pill strips, always out of order. It's why I'm still single. Grin

ExecutiveDiamondBossBabeHun · 21/06/2018 09:31

I take them from wherever I feel like. Fortunately so does DH. I realise how lucky I am Grin

"D"H pops them totally at random and worse will sometimes just use 1 then put it back in the packet so sometimes you get there and there's 1 random tablet in the pack!!

I have pointed out to him how that 1 paracetamol isn't going to be much use to treat his soon to be missing limb Wink

YANBU LTB

Hidillyho · 21/06/2018 09:38

I would t be able to handle this. They have to be used in your order

Thank you for reminding me that I needed to get my pain meds Grin

If you want an alibi after hiding the body let me know Grin

I have about three strips with only one pill left as I've started a new strip without realising. I'm a mess Confused

toooldforthisshirt37 · 21/06/2018 09:42

A strip with only one tablet in it?

Why are there so many anarchists on MN??

OP posts:
Uncreative · 21/06/2018 09:44

That’s wrong! Don’t know why you have put up with this for so long. LTB!

TrudeauGirl · 21/06/2018 09:44

I sometimes only take them in 1s as I don't like paracetamol much.

I have to be an anarchist somehow and order of medication is the rebellion I chose. Grin

OhLookHeKickedTheBall · 21/06/2018 09:47

Dh has taken pills with days of the week on in a random order. I contemplated ltb over that and they were his pills.
Definitely ltb if he's doing it to yours.

toooldforthisshirt37 · 21/06/2018 10:07

So it isettled! I am outta here.

And I am taking the cutlery drawer with me because he can't be trusted to put the cutlery in the right places! If I have to hoke out a fork from the spoon bit one more time!!!!! Angry

FlyingElbows · 21/06/2018 10:10

Random? That's just abuse!

Loyaultemelie · 21/06/2018 10:13

No no no the cutlery would be the final straw from Ltb to patio! My dh also does this with tablets and it really does make me mutter dire threats of unmentionable torture. He also loads dishwashers in strange and just wrong ways!

LadyMisty · 21/06/2018 10:31

OP you poor bugger having to put up with his shit for so long. ThanksThanksThanks

If I was in your position I would be cutting the strips of paracetamol up into 2s before allowing your husband any. That way, if he wants numbers 2 and 4 at the same time he'll have to work out which ones are which and take one each from two different sets of 2! (Or just use 2 tablets from the same place.)

But then reading about the cutlery draw, couldn't cope with that, he belongs under the patio, he won't need paracetamol there! (But I have had to train a husband and 4 boys how to put our cutlery away - 3 sets, two in the same draw, one in a canteen. 'Normal' cutlery goes in one way, dessert forks (and knives, but when do you use a knife for dessert?), soup spoons etc. go in upside down). Most of the family know how they go, youngest son (7) still working out which are the big and which are the small forks. He will get there eventually.

CrazyDaisy2018 · 21/06/2018 11:39

Don't start on the cutlery too... My DP has finally (after 10 years) realised that the teaspoons have the handles facing right, not haphazardly left or right. He's lucky he didn't have to have a teaspoon handle removed from a sensitive area when we moved in and kept getting it wrong.

Thankfully DP and I do not have the same medication, or I suspect this might drive me to want to LTB too.

Grin Wink
