I think I just achieved parking greatness

Picking a friend up from the local train station.

There are waiting bays that are all angled, there’s on space left that I can just squeeze into the chap on the end Has parked a tyre width over the space with his tyres angled outwards (decreasing the parking space rather considerably).

I managed to back my car in (with wing mirrors folded so I could squeeze in). The chap is watching in horror as I squeeze in, obvs his passenger won’t be able to get in now.

He’s about to huff and puff, then realised he’s half in ‘my’ space and dutifully moves his car.

I think you did in fact achieve parking greatness. Congratulations Smile

Less satisfyingly you also probably saved him the cost of a parking fine. Wink You can get done for not parking within the lines or taking up two marked bays.

Yabu not to have provided diagram /photos to back up your claim.

Nice. I had one of these last week. My car is like a tank, big SUV thing but I love it. I was parking at a busy hospital, no real spaces left but was being directed to park on any “paved area as long as you don’t block a walkway”. I performed the most beautiful reverse park and landed perfectly square on the last free spot.
I tip my hat to a fellow parking queen 👑
