There are some nice ones. There are a LOT of naff ones. Depends which you choose, but in the end it's all a matter of taste.

Which one do you like?

I’ve just done a bit of water feature research and my questions are:
Will it look rubbish switched off?
Does it make a nice noise?
Will it go green?

The Range has quite a lot of water features. DS recommends the hideous steamtrain for £170.

Sorry, didn’t see your link. That’s a Kelkay brand water feature that you can get elsewhere a bit cheaper. I think it would look nice in a modern garden.

We’re thinking of getting a ‘pond in a pot’ as we don’t want a water feature that plugs into the mains and all the solar powered ones I’ve found are awful. The pond thing is in a nice stylish simple bowl and while the water doesn’t move and you don’t get the soothing sound, you can plant cool stuff in it like water lilies. Picture attached

I made my own. It is a small pond liner buried below the ground, with a small pump in. I then covered it with slate and built rocks behind it to create a little waterfall. I like it.
