Fifty shades? Shop display?

Regarding a supermarket, I just saw this tweet

“has "50 Shades Freed" on display at the front of their stores. Within the reach of children. It is violent pornography that glorifies sexual abuse of women. I don't care if people like watching videos of other people having sex, but this rape. Shame on you “

Confused yes I get the argument of abuse but would you really complain?

It's weird. Remember in the 90s we had to put up with Zoo and Nuts at the checkout which was pretty vile? And yet it feels as if we haven't really moved forward except that the internet has desensitized people further. But it is a waste of time to complain. People don't give a shit unless it's a Twitter snowstorm or in the daily mail.

And 50 shades is shit. I am far more likely to complain about Harry Potter which us ubiquitous shit that pretends to be decent because they publish in hardback as if its Dickens.

I have not read this (reputed) rubbish-but it is famously popular with "mums", who are the majority of supermarket shoppers. Why not expose it for sale?
Surely children will not take a copy from the stands, and actually read it?I guess there are no explicit pictures or photos in these books?
Chill out!

She doesn't do anything in the books without explicitly saying that she consents ... she even signs a legally valid fucking contract.

I hare people who say it's abuse and rape. It's all consensual. I often wonder what these people with those views on that type of relationship would make of the 'other' side of mine and dh's relationship. Not quite 50 shades level with contracts and things, and no designated room (unfortunately), but not too far off. It's all consensual and we both love it

There's no rape and it's not got any pornography

She's batshit
