Should I just grin and bear it?

We rent, and the apartment needs some plumbing job. The tradies are so unprofessional to deal with. Last Friday, they said they'd come at 8:30am, and noone did. Apparently there was some sort of a screw up with the schedule.

Today, the schedule is 8:30am again, and they messaged at 8:30am and said they'd be here in an hour instead because they're coming from another job.

One hour later, they're still not here.

Do I just grin and bear it? Otherwise they might screw up the job leading to more inconvenience? Right now we have no shower because they're working on it, and are using the bathtub which is inconvenient during the weekdays since it's not as fast as showering.

What would you do?

I'm tempted to ice them and be standoffish but I'm afraid they'd pee in my shampoo or something like that.

Yeah it's the owner who got them to do the job.

Still not here. Almost two hours late.

If you are renting it is the landlords responsibility to sort out who does and when the the repairs are done .
Is it a private landlord or council / hosing Ass ?
Private landlords can be a pain in the ass to deal with , you may find that they use a agency to proved the tradesmen so will never meet the staff therefor not know how bad they are.
If it is housing or council then they normally ( but not always ) use a well governed company or there own guys .
Which ever it is you need to report the shoddy timekeeping / work .
Do this via email rather than phone calls if you can ( or make the call and back it up with a email ) that way you have a record of the complaints you have made and they can not deny it further down the line .

Yeah, the landlord hired these tradies and they're coordinating with us regarding schedule. But they're so unprofessional and apparently just come whenever they want to come/convenient for them despite the previously agreed schedule.
