To think I have a spoon stealing ghost?

I have approx 10 dessert spoons. Yesterday there was none in the drawer when DH and I went to have our dinner. I figured they must be in the dishwasher/ sink.

Went to give the kids their dinner tonight with a spoon for the eldest and none in the drawer again. Last night's dishwasher had been emptied and put away.

Needed spoons for mine and DH's dinner again and in that time the dishwasher had been emptied since the kids dinners and STILL NO SPOONS?!?

Tonight my husband's vape has disappeared off the face of the earth (was def in the house), my MILs cigarettes and a £20 note since we moved in 8 weeks ago.

I'm most concerned about my bloody spoons though! Where are they??

And is the ghost trying to communicate with me??

I can’t help you find the things you have lost, but we have a teaspoon ghost in this house I am sure!! YANBU

I leave them in the big yogurt pots, they accidentally get put in the bin when you helpfully tidy up after me.

They also fall between my bed and bedside table, or behind my bed, or between my bed and mattress when I eat yogurt in bed.

Others inexplicably disappear when I'm around, I don't know why, but based on the thorough investigate that proved me to a spoon fairy, I'm fairly sure it is me.

We have one, but for forks, and socks, and pants!
We must possess at least 20 forks, 200 socks, and 2 dozen pairs of pants each, but can we ever find them? Oh no, no, no....

I'm going to have to call in the Ghostbusters aren't I.

It's bloody weird.

I'm still searching for a large knife that disappeared off the worktop while I was using it and nipped to the bathroom. 30 seconds tops. I live alone.

Where did these things go???? I need to know!

I will be interrogating the children tomorrow.

I've looked everywhere too - it's a tiny flat and no knife! I even asked out loud for it to return

How old are the children? If they fill the dishwasher the cutlery might be going in the bin?
We have a key hiding ghost though which also plays with lights and slams doors!

Have you got a cat with a magnet on it's collar?! My cat sneakily licks used bowls if they're not put in the sink quick enough and if there's cutlery it sometimes sticks to the magnet! Though you should still find the spoons but not were you left them!

I discovered that my family was throwing away the spoons with the ice cream cup.

Boring I know

I just did a search and found your post, did you ever find your spoons? Mine have almost all vanished since yesterday. It's just my husband and I and he's at a loss as well. Only tea spoons are missing. Strange
