Women and yachts

I wanted a stock photo of 2 middle aged women looking fucking fabulous on a yacht. Initially wanted one blonde and one brunette, both in kaftans drinking cocktails but soon realised that was too specific - any middled aged women will 2 - must be 2 of them looking incredibly successful and happy. I have searched and searched (happy to admit its amateur hour at Shiklah towers and I am useless with these things).

Are there really no images of 2 middle aged women, with no men or younger women in bikinis in sight available on google images?

I am almost certainly being stupid but don't have teenagers here to prove it to me and feel my feminist rage rising up.

Can anyone help?

plenty of pictures of women sailing yachts, which does look fabulous.

what you want is known as 'seat covers' and that is not my definition of feminist images.

If you're near the coast, try your nearest sailing club, they can probably oblige! If you google it you'll either get Ellen McCarthur looking rugged (which I assume is not the look you want) or women in bikinis.

I don't want pics of women looking like sailors - I want them to look like millionaires who've hired a yacht - the pic isn't feminist it's just weird their are millions of pics of middle aged men like this, and groups of young women and no middle aged women.

I thought a seat cover was what you hired at a wedding - I am not a yacht person or a sailor so sorry if Ive caused offence to the women's yachting community - I just want a daft pic!

scoobyd2 - yes that is exactly what I am getting. I am literally in the centre of the country making a silly congrats card - its not important at all - I just trust MN to help me out when I am BU or BS :)

Only one woman, mid-30s. Any good? She's called Ipek Kirac and is billed by Superyacht Digest as the youngest yachting entrepreneur. Browsing through that mag might turn up more pix close to what you are after, but older women tend to be en famille rather than a pair together.

We have a family yacht, owned by my father. It's chartered out for the weeks we don't want it for. Thing is I hate it. I have no idea why people think they are glam. They aren't. There is always something wrong with it. It's an awful set up for young kids and I can't relax for a moment having 3DC aged 6 and under.

Women with the money to buy a yacht are smart enough not to.

I'd send a pic of us on our yacht a couple of weeks ago- but alas we were wearing shorts, t-shirts and sturdy deck shoes and are in need of a good haircut and colour.

I think if you look up 'yacht ride with private escorts' you are more likely to find what you're looking for.

Ipek is utterly fabulous but is working her ass off on that pic so it's a no.

Shirley is looking good - certainly aspirational but also an element of 'work' to it. Our fantasy yacht is staffed Grin

Just as a heads up - google images are not free to use; you've got no license.

Fine if you're just using it for something at home; not fine if it has any type of commercial usage or will be shared online etc. In that case, you'd need to use an actual stock photography site and buy an image with the appropriate license.

My husband bought one, Christ almighty he thought I'd turn in to Ellen McCarthy, I hated the f**king thing, sold it a couple of years ago, albeit at a £50k loss.

Its for a silly card for a mate who's returned to work after being a SAHM - very silly. I was just in disbelief I couldn't find fabulous middle aged woman photos.
